Road Cycling

Are you passionate about bikes and want to practice road cycling in the Pyrenees? The Aure and Louron valleys offer you about twenty routes to improve your skills and feel like a cyclist. These can also be done on a mechanical or electric bike. Good to know: the Spanish territory of Sobrarbe also offers you about twenty additional routes. 

During your bike ride, enjoy exceptional panoramas of the mountain ranges and discover the different Pyrenean villages of our territory. Road biking in the Aure and Louron valleys is sporty and is aimed at experienced cyclists due to the presence of many climbs and descents.  

Various events are organised throughout the year, such as the Cycl'n Trip which will take place from 15 to 19 July 2024. Our territory is also located on the crossing of the Pyrenees, a route that is very popular with experienced cyclists. A frequent crossing point of the Tour de France, the Aure and Louron valleys represent the ideal place to practice road cycling and discover the mythical passes of this competition: the Col d'Aspin, the Col de Balès, the Col de Peyresourde, the Col d'Azet, the Col du Tourmalet. 

Many bike rental companies are at your disposal and accompany you in your sports practice.
