ARAGNOUET
MIELLERIE D'AURE
The Miellerie d'Aure mountain beekeeping farm located in Aragnouet in the upper Aure Valley, in the Pyrenees National Park, is an atypical farm that produces only honeys harvested from wild flowers, in the mountains only, at altitudes between 700 and 2200m.
All its production is certified organic since July 2010. The farm has about 200 hives, populated with local strains of bees - known as "black bees" - and run with a focus on the well-being of the bee colonies and the production of low yields of very high quality honey.
All our production is certified Organic Agriculture.
Our farm is also labelled Esprit Parc National, a collective mark of the Pyrenees National Park.
